PropZolo vs Real estate ERPs

PropZolo vs a real estate ERP.

An ERP runs the company: accounts, purchase, construction and vendors. PropZolo runs the sale: enquiries, pre-sales calls, site visits, channel partners, unit holds, bookings and collections follow-up. Most builders need both, and it helps to know where each one stops.

Being fair

When real estate erps is enough

If you sell most units through a few known channel partners, take few direct enquiries and the sales team is two or three people, an ERP’s booking and customer ledger can be enough. Once enquiries come from portals and ads, pre-sales calls hundreds of leads and partners argue over who brought a buyer, the ERP was never built for that part of the work.

Switching

  1. 1Keep the ERP as the system of record for accounts, GST and construction; run enquiries to booking in PropZolo
  2. 2Send booking, receipt and cancellation events to the ERP with signed outgoing webhooks
  3. 3Use the REST API with scoped keys to read or write records between the two systems
  4. 4Start from exports: unit lists and bookings move as CSV while the integration is built
How switching works

Questions

Before you switch.

Is PropZolo an ERP?

No. PropZolo is a CRM for sales: leads, calls, visits, channel partners, unit inventory, cost sheets, bookings, demands and collections follow-up. It does not keep your general ledger, file GST returns or manage purchase, construction or contractors.

Can PropZolo send bookings to our ERP?

Yes, through signed outgoing webhooks and the REST API on Growth and above. Your ERP team or integrator maps the events, such as a booking or a receipt, to the ERP’s own customer and ledger records.

Which system should hold the customer ledger?

Usually the ERP, because it feeds the accounts. PropZolo keeps the sales-side view — demands raised, receipts recorded, ageing and reminders — so the sales and CRM team can follow up without logging into the accounts system.

Do we need the Builder plan for this?

Unit inventory, cost sheets, bookings, collections and the channel partner portal are on the Builder plan and Enterprise. The pipelines, calling and site visits are available on every plan.
