Questions

Why send a meeting point as well as the map pin?

Map pins for large projects often drop at the boundary wall or the wrong gate. A named meeting point — the sales office, a gate number — gets the buyer to the agent without three phone calls in the car park.

Should I send a live location instead?

A live location shares the agent’s movements for as long as it runs and may not work on the template. A fixed pin of the meeting point is enough and keeps the message usable as an approved utility template.

Tips

  • Name a landmark the buyer can see from the road; new projects often have no signage on the main gate yet.
  • Send it to the buyer and copy the details to the person meeting them, so both know who to look for.
  • For resale flats, meet outside the society gate — many societies need the visitor’s name at security.

Utility templates must relate to something the customer asked for.
