Questions
Who should issue the token receipt — broker or owner?
The person who receives the money. If the token goes to the owner’s account, the owner signs the receipt and you share it; if your firm holds it, issue it on your letterhead. Either way, the receipt should name the property, amount, date and payment mode.
Should the receipt mention whether the token is refundable?
Yes, in the receipt document behind the link. State the conditions under which the token is refunded or forfeited, as agreed by both sides. Disputes over tokens usually start because nobody wrote this down.

- Send it the moment the payment lands — trust matters most at this step.
- Link the receipt rather than attaching it.
