Meta’s editor numbers variables — {{1}}, {{2}} — in the order they appear.

Variations

Next morning, if there was no reply

Good morning {{name}}, did you get a chance to think about {{property}}? Even a one-word reply helps — 1 Liked it, 2 Maybe, 3 Not for me. If something didn’t work, tell us and we’ll look for better options.

Questions

When should the feedback request go out?

One to three hours after the visit, once the buyer is home. Sending it in the car park feels pushy; waiting until the next week means they have seen other projects. The agent should also log their own notes before the buyer’s reply arrives.

What do I do with a “Not for me” reply?

Ask one follow-up question — price, size, location or construction stage — and update the requirement. That answer decides the next shortlist. Don’t argue with the buyer about the property they rejected.

Tips

  • Structured replies feed matching for the next shortlist.
  • Follow up with a call if they reply “Liked it”.

Utility templates must relate to something the customer asked for.
